​Based in Madison, WI and NYC.
Currently, Heidi is mostly rooted close to family, in Dane County—pursuing freelance collaborative projects, developing a visual arts portfolio, working on Native land restoration, and facilitating private sessions, group workshops, and community events.

    •   This knowledge was applied to experimental movement methods and choreography styles while developing original pedagogy for the  University of Wisconsin-Madison Continuing Studies Division’s dance and movement courses.  
  • ​Trained in the NYC dance hub and internationally in classical and contemporary dance techniques, somatic dance techniques, and somatic movement methods, under the direction of acclaimed dance innovators such as Ohad Naharin, who developed the Gaga movement language with Batsheva Dance Co (Tel Aviv, Israel), Jon Ole Olstrand formerly of Netherlands Dans Theatre, and Manuel Vignouelle, an award winning independent French choreographer. 2014-2019
  • Taught therapeutic movement and dance methods -- specifically developed for staff and elderly residents of HAAF, a Therapeutic Intergenerational Assisted Living Home.  Focused methods catered to individuals living with ailments such as Parkinson’s disease, Downs Syndrome, and Alzheimers, Madison WI 2012-2020.
